Thanksgiving Message from our President, Barbara Cager:

I am thankful that our 2016-2017 AAUW Tarrant County Branch year is off to a great start.  Cheers to both of our book clubs that are having great discussions with record numbers of attendees, our Out to Lunch group enjoying restaurants around Fort Worth, and the Community Service group that has held several voter registration drives to register 69 new voters, just to mention a few.  Kudos to the chairs and co-chairs that have given leadership to these wonderful events.

Hats off to Mary DuBoise, June Hill (for stepping back in to assist) and ALL of the AAUW volunteers that helped to make our 2016 Sister-to-Sister Summit a success!

As we enter this Thanksgiving Season, I would like to express how thankful I am for our AAUW Tarrant County Branch and the contributions each of you make.

Thank You Message from Mary DuBoise, Sister-to-Sister Summit 2016 Chair

The 2016 Sister-to-Sister Summit was a success on November 5!!  The college women were very happy with their success in leading and inspiring the middle school girls.  AAUW TCB members enjoyed supporting the event by greeting students, arranging tables, serving food, and stuffing goodie bags.

Thank you to everyone who made this day possible.  Someone said, “I didn’t do much,” but a little or a lot done by a group of women added up to a successful day.  Whatever each and every one of the volunteers did helped make it a better day for the middle school girls and the college women!

One important part of the day was getting to know or know better the members of AAUW TCB and other women participating.  Joining in this day’s efforts were the Fort Worth ISD, TCU, and Delta Kappa Gamma, Delta Chapter.
